Why does having too much information make me hesitate to invest in stocks?

I keep reading and watching so many things about the stock market that I feel more confused than confident.

Every new video, article, or opinion adds more doubt instead of clarity.

Why does knowing more sometimes make it harder for normal people like me to actually invest?

Has anyone else felt “too informed to invest,” and how do you deal with all the overload and make decisions with confidence instead of fear?

From my own experience as an investor, I’ve seen that too much information can easily cloud your judgment.

The constant flow of data (information) makes you second-guess your own research. Instead of making decisions based on your plan, you start worrying about every expert’s warning and every new market prediction.

What actually happens is, you lose faith in your own methods.

You feel that every minor negative in the market is a major risk, and this leads you to sit on the sidelines or keep changing your strategy. In reality, most successful investors ignore the noise and stick to their plan. They decide to trust the fundamentals rather than reacting to every bit of news.

My honest advice is to limit your sources and filter out unnecessary updates. Focus on building conviction in a strategy that matches your thought process.

Information should guide, not confuse us.
